Transmission 108: Earthlings dare
Part four of the Earthling code.

- - - - - GREETINGS, EARTHLING - - - - -
Part four of the Earthling code.
Ten quiet truths, written in case someone out there ever needs them.
If a descendant in a distant galaxy ever wonders what it meant to be human,
what it meant to come from Earth,
this is what I hope they find.
The code (so far):
1. Earthlings are
2. Earthlings wonder
3. Earthlings care

Earthlings dare.
You walk into fear.
You tell the truth.
You do what’s right, even when it’s hard.
Be bold. Be true. Be whole.

You wondered.
And then you dared.
Dared to fly.
Dared to fall in love.
Dared to cross oceans with no map.
Dared to split the atom.
Dared to cure disease.
Dared to go to the Moon.
Dared to ask where you came from.
Dared to dream up artificial minds.
Dared to change your name.
Dared to speak the truth when it cost you.
Dared to imagine a better way.
Even when you were afraid.
Especially then.

Bridges.
They connect more than land.
They connect people.
There’s one not far from here,
nearly 8 kilometres long,
suspended over a lake so deep,
I still don’t know how you anchored it.
Of course, mass transport bridges will be obsolete
once your planet unlocks teleportation.
But until then, amazing!

How do you feel about crossing long bridges? |

Float well, Earthling.

Greetings, Earthling is a free daily newsletter designed to help you slow down, feel better, and start your mornings with a sense of meaning. Written from the perspective of a curious space observer named NeilA, each transmission blends mindfulness, motivation, and emotional insight with a hint of cosmic wonder.
Inspired by Stoic philosophy, Tao, Alan Watts, behavioural science, and the strange beauty of being human, these messages offer gentle reminders to live with purpose, pay attention, and appreciate the little things. Part alien wisdom, part self-help, part poetic dispatch, it’s a daily pick-me-up disguised as a transmission from the stars.
If you’re looking for a mindful routine, a feel-good newsletter, or thoughtful guidance that fits in your inbox, you’re in the right place. This is for anyone who wants to be more present, more kind, and more connected to yourself, to others, and to the universe around you.
If this helped, pass it along. Or send them here. Signals get stronger when more receivers are tuned in.
Thank you for reading. Your presence means more than you know.
