Transmission 159: Doors

What does your hallway look like?

- - - - - GREETINGS, EARTHLING - - - - -

Today, this one is for me too.

For those of us who work.
Push.
Climb.

And then… wham.
Reality catches up and knocks you
right back down the hill.

I was starting to feel hopeful.
The work was showing signs of paying off.

But if it were too easy,
how gratifying would it really be?

So what do you do?

You get.
Back.
To.
Work.

Today, be bulletproof.
Get up.
Brush off the noise.
Get back to it.

That’s the only move.

Today, give yourself a hug.
Then a swift kick in the behind.

You’re okay.

Remember,
life is a long hallway
lined with doors.
Opportunities.

The harder you work,
the more doors appear.

You can lie down
and let life drag you down the hall.
Like one of those fancy moving sidewalks in airports.

But you’d just be lying there letting life pass you by.

Instead, get up.
Live your life.
Even the bad parts.

And start building doorways.

Pillows.

Who knew there were so many types?

Firm.
Semi.
Soft.
Foam.
Feather.
Memory.
Ergonomic.

Great for sleeping.

Great for giving your noggin
the perfect reading angle
while enjoying the Red Rising series
(currently obsessed).

Also excellent for screaming into
when life decides
to kick you back down the hill.

Highly versatile Earth technology.

Greetings, Earthling is a free daily newsletter designed to help you slow down, feel better, and start your mornings with a sense of meaning. Written from the perspective of a curious space observer named NeilA, each transmission blends mindfulness, motivation, and emotional insight with a hint of cosmic wonder.

Inspired by Stoic philosophy, Tao, Alan Watts, behavioural science, and the strange beauty of being human, these messages offer gentle reminders to live with purpose, pay attention, and appreciate the little things. Part alien wisdom, part self-help, part poetic dispatch, it’s a daily pick-me-up disguised as a transmission from the stars.

If you’re looking for a mindful routine, a feel-good newsletter, or thoughtful guidance that fits in your inbox, you’re in the right place. This is for anyone who wants to be more present, more kind, and more connected to yourself, to others, and to the universe around you.

If this helped, pass it along. Or send them here. Signals get stronger when more receivers are tuned in.

Thank you for reading. Your presence means more than you know.
