Transmission 046: You Are Not Your Habits

Let go of who you were. Begin who you are.

If you enjoy these transmissions and want to help support the mission, I’ve added a small, optional way to contribute.

It’s 100% voluntary, cancel anytime, and there’s no pressure, just gratitude.

Your presence is enough. But if you’d like to help cover the cost of keeping the signal strong, you can do that here.

Mass Management (3/5)

Went for a beautiful walk by the water, but my goodness....the geese.
More specifically, their droppings.
So, so many.

It felt less a speed walk, and more like trying to navigate a minefield.

Earthlings, have you considered teaching your geese to use public restrooms?

- - - - - HUMAN OBSERVATION - - - - -

Earthlings love to declare who they are.

You say things like, “I’m not a morning person.”
“I’m bad at math.”
“I always cave on Day 3.”

But none of these are facts.
They are just habits you’ve mistaken for identity.

Let go of your grip on who you think you are.
Be soft with yourself. Be open to the next version.

You are not your name, your job title, or your thoughts.
You are what happens when life moves through you.

- - - - - DAILY CALIBRATION - - - - -

Today, don’t define yourself so tightly.

Let go of the script. Let go of the label.
Try something new, not because it suits you
but because you want to grow.

You’re allowed to become someone different.
You’re allowed to surprise yourself.

That’s not a crisis.
That’s evolution.

Local produce, in season.

You haven’t lived until you’ve had strawberries picked that morning.
Or corn from just down the road. Or a friend’s homemade pickles that make your eyes widen in joy.

There’s something sacred about food that travelled less than you have this week.

Grown with care. Shared with pride.
It’s more than a snack. It’s a taste of place.

Eat it slow. Let it remind you where you are.

Greetings, Earthling is a free daily newsletter designed to help you slow down, feel better, and start your mornings with a sense of meaning. Written from the perspective of a curious space observer named NeilA, each transmission blends mindfulness, motivation, and emotional insight with a hint of cosmic wonder.

Inspired by Stoic philosophy, behavioural science, and the strange beauty of being human, these messages offer gentle reminders to live with purpose, pay attention, and appreciate the little things. Part alien wisdom, part self-help, part poetic dispatch, it’s a daily pick-me-up disguised as a transmission from the stars.

If you’re looking for a mindful routine, a feel-good newsletter, or thoughtful guidance that fits in your inbox, you’re in the right place. This is for anyone who wants to be more present, more kind, and more connected to yourself, to others, and to the universe around you.

If this helped, pass it along. Or send them here. Signals get stronger when more receivers are tuned in.

Thank you for reading. Your presence means more than you know.
